The Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) is pleased to notify that the establishment and operation of veneer manufacturing plants (provided electrical equipment/technology from renewable energy sources is used and does not involve the use of chemicals and adhesives), is hereafter classified under the "Green Category" in the Project Categorization 2025.   

The Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) is pleased to notify that the establishment and operation of Mugwort-Based Production Activity (cottage and small scale; and not using fossil fuel-based boiler or biomass-fired boiler) is hereafter classified under the "Green Category" in the Project Categorization 2025.   

The stakeholder consultation and sensitization workshop on Loss and Damage was held in Thimphu, Bhutan on 24 January 2025. A total of 32 participants from various ministries, agencies, and organizations attended the consultation workshop. The loss and damage needs of the relevant agencies and organizations were identified through brainstorming sessions during the workshop.
